How can COAST help?

Free Distribution of Narcan, Test Strips, and Overdose Response Training

  • The only thing Narcan enables is breathing. We know that some drugs are contaminated with fentanyl, Xylazine or a number of other adulterants. Staff members can dispense both Narcan and test strips for fentanyl and Xylazine, free-of-charge, to anyone at risk of experiencing or witnessing an opioid overdose. Recipients of these supplies can also be provided with overdose response training.

Referrals to Treatment and Recovery Resources

  • Our healthcare providers offer a wide range of primary and recovery services, and can help you get the insurance you need.

  • We have extensive knowledge about the treatment and recovery resources in and around our community. We provide referrals for a variety of considerations, including the most appropriate type and levels of service necessary.

Connecting to Community-Based Resources and Organizations

  • We understand that many aspects of a person's health aren't directly related to healthcare. These things are often called the social determinants of health, and we deeply understand the locations of resources in the community that can assist with shelter, income, health insurance, or even food insecurity.
